Acer's new PA100 portable SSD, manufactured by BIWIN under license, tops out at USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds instead of chasing Thunderbolt numbers. The real spec worth noticing is its sub-1W idle power draw, built for everyday use tethered to a phone or thin laptop.

For World Photography Day, Kingston isn't launching new hardware. It's regrouping its full SSD and portable drive lineup, from the 14,800MB/s FURY Renegade G5 in its new 8TB size to the IP55-rated XS2000, around how demanding your actual shoot is rather than which spec sheet looks fastest.

Biwin's M560 is a PCIe 5.0 NVMe 2.0 SSD with up to 11,000 MB/s sequential reads and a single-sided M.2 2280 design, targeting gamers, content creators and AI workloads. Pricing for the Philippines hasn't been announced yet.
